We handle all communications through our websites, email, and other channels. If any information is not listed on the Vendor Info page or in this section, please email Netia@riversideartscouncil.com.
No, for documentation purposes, all reservations and wait list additions must be handled through the registration form.
To make a reservation, you would sign up on the Google form through the Vendor Sign Up page.
You will be notified that you have been added to the reservation/wait list in about a week.
You do not need to make a reservation, but it is highly recommended. Most people reserve, and we're fully booked within one to two weeks after the previous Artswalk. If you show up to try to get a space, you will be added to the waitlist. Spots will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
At that point, you would need to show up on-site to have your name added to the waitlist. We are at the check-in booth located on Main St. 3746 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92501 (near the Cesar Chavez statue) on the first Thursday of the month at
3:00 p.m. We will not be able to take reservations or make additions to the wait list unless they are made in person.
Please email Netia@riversideartscouncil.com to let her know that you cannot make it, so that the space can be opened up for someone else.
If you are wait-listed, you will need to arrive on the day of the event after 3:30 pm to get in line for check-in. We will check in vendors on a first-come, first-served basis. At 6 pm, we will close check-in.
Artists On Main is located on Main St. between 5th St. and 10th St. in downtown Riverside's pedestrian mall.
Artists should arrive between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., but it also depends on how long it will take you to set up your booth.

Payments for spaces will only be accepted at check in the day of the event.
We do not accept advance payment. Cash only.

Each space is a maximum of 10x10 feet.
Parking is free everywhere downtown after 7:00 p.m. There are parking lots and street spaces available. For detailed parking information, please visit parkatriverside.com
There are space/loading zones at the curb of Main Street, University, and Mission. Use those spaces, or any parking nearby, at your discretion. Be aware of parking regulations and be mindful of blocking traffic!
We only take reservations for the upcoming month's event -- you can sign up the day after the current Artswalk.
We do accept a limited number of extended reservations at an additional cost.
The time frame and costs are as follows:
12-month reservation (Jan. – Dec.) @ $250
6-month reservation (Jan. – June; July – Dec.) @ $125
3-month reservation (Jan. – March; April – June; July – Sept.; Oct. – Dec.) @ $65
We will accept ten vendors for each extended reservation term: five for 12 months, five for 6 months, and five for 3 months. Reservations must be submitted through email before registration opens for the first event date. Full payment must be made before the first Artswalk event included in the extended reservation. With an extended reservation, you can select your specific space and won't have to worry about signing up each month for the time frame you've chosen. If an artist is signed up for an extended reservation period and misses one event, the reservation will not carry over. However, if an event is rained out or canceled by the Riverside Arts Council, we will reimburse or apply a credit to your account for one month.
There will be no refunds. Reservations must be made via email at least one month before the start of the extended period (if reserving for January to March, reservations must be emailed before the December Artswalk). Once the reservation is made, we will send you an invoice that can be paid through PayPal. Email reservation requests and questions to Netia@riversideartscouncil.com
Yes. Artists that are under 18 may set up but must be accompanied by an adult.
Artswalk is a community event, and you can walk around and distribute information or flyers. We do not rent spaces to businesses, groups, or organizations. You may walk through to pass out information, but you can not spend the entire time walking through this event. Riverside Artswalk is held throughout downtown Riverside, so the best exposure would be to circulate throughout the whole area.
You may request a specific space or area. Spaces will be reserved as they come in. If you request a space that has already been reserved by someone else, we will do our best to reserve one in the same area.
The event ends at 9:00 p.m. and onsite security will give a 10-15 minute warning for artists to start cleaning up. Artists may not remain set up after the end of the event.
There are space/loading zones at the curb of Main Street and University and Mission. Use those spaces or any parking nearby at your discretion. Be aware of parking regulations and be mindful of blocking traffic!
Food is not permitted to be sold at Artists On Main. Spaces will not be rented to food vendors and artists may not sell or give out food to patrons (this would violate the Riverside County Department of Health, which could result in substantial fines to the offending party).
Artists On Main is reserved for artists to sell their handmade, original artwork, and resale is not allowed. Clothing that is purchased and then put out to sell is resale. All clothing sold at Artists On Main MUST be artistically altered such as hand sewn, crocheted, bleach art, painted, hand
printed, etc.
If the forecast shows rainfall, we may shut down the Artist On Main vendor area due to the risk of artwork damage; or a large number of cancellations.
The area is lit by the surrounding street lamps, battery powered lights are recommended.
There are outlets scattered along Main Street near planters. However we are not responsible for making sure that every artist has access to them as they are not guaranteed.
