Tyler Sanchez, also known by the artistic moniker Tyler The Lady, was born in North Hollywood and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After spending time working in Alaska’s fisheries industry and supporting the cast and crew of shows like The Deadliest Catch, Tyler is now thawing out and settling into the vibrant beauty of Palm Desert. Currently studying life and wellness coaching, she channels her personal journey and insights into vivid, multimedia art projects that reflect powerful life lessons.
Erynn Richardson is a painter and printmaker based in Riverside, California. Her work explores memory, nature, and humanity’s changing relationship with the environment, often carrying a tone of nostalgia for an imagined future. A graduate of CSU Long Beach’s MFA program, she now teaches drawing and printmaking at College of the Desert. In her watercolor series Future Fables, Richardson reimagines familiar animals as mythological beings, sparking reflection on the fragility of the natural world. She has exhibited widely, including at Bermudez Projects and La Sierra University.
Lorena Tuinenburg, a mixed media artist from South Orange County, has lived in Winchester and now resides in Temecula. She began creating art at age 28 and launched her business, South Meets North, six years ago to share her work publicly. Her art has been shown throughout Southern California, including Laguna Art Gallery, Bard Hall Gallery, Huntington Beach Art Center, Santa Clarita City Hall, and Mandell Weiss Gallery. In 2025, she received Los Alamitos’ Mayor’s Award and joined Costa Mesa’s Utility Box Art Program.
J Villa Murillo, 25, was born in Ensenada, Mexico, and now lives in Lake Elsinore, CA. He has been creating art for as long as he can remember—starting with pausing cartoons to draw characters and selling them at school for 25 cents each. His passion for art has only grown, and he has exhibited work across Riverside, San Diego, and Los Angeles. In his free time, J enjoys hiking, walking his dog, junk journaling, and people-watching
Jonathan Jose is a self-taught mixed media painter from Sunnyvale in the Bay Area. He began creating art during the Covid years and has exhibited in the Veterans Artist Exhibition, Riverside County Administration Building, and Riverside Art Walk in 2023. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Analytics and paralegal studies, Jonathan also serves in the military and works as an IT Specialist. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and listening to music, from classical and indie to ’80s thrash metal. His exhibition pieces are made from biodegradable cardboard boxes.
Graciela Muniz-Torres primarily works in oils but also explores acrylics, pastels, and charcoal. Born in Mexico and raised in Santa Ana, CA, she has called Riverside home for the past five years. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Palm Desert, San Diego, and Washington state, and she is an active member of several art associations. Outside of painting, Graciela works from home, volunteers, cares for her three small dogs, and spends time with her large extended family. For her, art has always been both a creative outlet and a way to use her talent to support causes that matter deeply to her.
Nico Avila is a mixed media artist from Riverside County whose surrealist collages explore personal and social themes such as addiction, mental health, environmental issues, immigration, and relationships. Active in creative expression since age 12, he shifted from music to mixed media art in recent years while continuing to play drums in three bands. In 2025, he debuted two works at a local Ontario art event and regularly shares his work on Instagram. Nico aspires to make his community and family proud while building a legacy alongside his artistic influences, including Keith Haring, Patrick Nagel, and Gustav Klimt.
Alexandria Lenox is primarily a watercolor and acrylic painter who has lived in Riverside, Ca. for over 50 years. Since 2015, she has focused on painting full-time, sharing her colorful, textured works online and at art shows. Her art has been displayed at Riverside City Hall, the Main Downtown Library, Orange Terrace Library, and the 2025 Riverside Mayor’s Ball. When she’s not painting, Alexandria enjoys driving her Dodge Charger, gardening, interior design, and exploring new ways to blend vintage charm with modern expression. She hopes her eclectic and whimsical style will create joy in people's lives.
Mary Anne Mercado is a graphic designer and artist, born in Los Angeles and raised in Perris since 1990. She began creating art at age 8 and earned a BA in Studio Art from California State University, Long Beach in 2011. Now living in Riverside, she works as a professional graphic designer in Orange County, attends classes in the Riverside Community College District, and raises a young, artistically inclined daughter. She balances digital work with traditional, hands-on art inspired by local surroundings and community.
Joy Morgan is an emerging artist who was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, and relocated to Riverside County in 1990 from Orange County. Although she began creating art at the age of 13, it wasn’t until her retirement in 2019 that she fully embraced her creative path and immersed herself in artistic exploration.

I seek nothing more than a quiet recognition: that I have a measure of talent, a personal style, and, perhaps most meaningfully, the courage to overcome fear. I’m learning to take risks — using color, value, and design to evoke emotion in others.”
Ler Chang is a fine artist from China who moved to Riverside County in 2021 and recently earned an MFA from Laguna College of Art and Design. With a background in the animation industry, Ler specializes in figures, anatomy, and movement, and has exhibited at venues including the Laguna Art Museum, Ontario Museum of History and Art, Chemers Gallery, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, and Diana Berger Gallery. Ler’s work blends surrealism with representation to explore the relationship between humans and nature, using art as a tool to spark reflection and inspire change.
Jesse Ramirez is a Chicano multimedia artist working primarily in digital art. Using a representational approach, his work explores community, interpersonal relationships, and mental health, influenced by his experiences growing up in a Mexican immigrant household and his work as a mental health therapist. Creating art since 2021, Jesse has exhibited at the Mexican Consulate of Los Angeles, Brand Library and Art Center, Mills Pond Gallery (New York), Stola Contemporary Art Gallery (Chicago), CSU Long Beach, and Riverside Art Museum. He is based in Moreno Valley, California.
Fredo Armenta is a multimedia artist who conjures strange worlds through sculpture, oil paint, ink, and digital art. Raised in Mexico and Los Angeles, he later settled in Riverside County. He is currently studying at Riverside City College and plans to transfer to continue his education, aspiring to become an art professor and share his passion with others
Vivian Flores is a painter born and raised in Riverside, California. She has been creating art since childhood and is currently pursuing her teaching credential in art at California State University, San Bernardino. Her work has been exhibited at The Little Gallery in San Bernardino, the Riverside Insect Fair, and the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art. Vivian aspires to become an art teacher, deepen her involvement in the art community, and continue growing as a creator. Beyond painting, she enjoys making jewelry, sewing, and selling her work at flea markets.
Stephanie Cush is a mixed media artist who moved to Riverside in 2010. She has been creating nature-inspired art throughout her life and now enjoys making art alongside her children. In addition to her artistic practice, Stephanie loves gardening and sharing her creative journey on Instagram at @sprouting.veggies.
Natalie Joelle Peters is a local illustrator born and raised in Riverside, CA. A lifelong artist, she discovered her passion for illustration in 2020 during the pandemic. Natalie earned her degree in Marketing and Graphic Design from California Baptist University and now works as a Brand Manager while freelancing and creating art in her free time. Her work has been shown at the Riverside Insect Fair and Star Charts in Temecula, CA. Beyond illustration, she enjoys hiking, thrifting, cooking, spending time with her family and three dogs, drinking matcha, and exploring different genres of music. Through her art, Natalie hopes to collaborate with local businesses, bands, and indie artists, as well as teach digital arts to youth—spreading curiosity, joy, and nostalgia through her creations.
