Gabriella Arana a digital artist from Highgrove, began creating art as soon as she could hold a crayon and holds a Bachelor's in Graphic Design and Marketing. Since launching her art career in early 2024, her work has been showcased at Victoria Gardens and Moreno Valley Mall, reflecting her anime-inspired style and her belief that her art embodies memories, lifestyle, and love.
Anousha Baqai a mixed-media artist from Corona, California, has been creating art since she was 11 and is currently studying in Norco. Published in two arts magazines and featured at the 2024 Emerge Art Festival, the Norco College Art Gallery, and a gallery in Seattle, she aspires to pursue a degree in experience design and work in the film industry.
Steven Calderon a painter from Keller, Texas, raised in Riverside, California, has been creating acrylic paintings for over a decade and uses images of notebook paper to evoke rhetorical questions about lost things and forgotten feelings. Exhibiting his work in galleries across the Inland Empire and participating in group shows in downtown Los Angeles, Steven's art aims to help people rediscover forgotten memories and sensations.
Hailey Cisneros a mixed-media artist from Riverside, California, has been passionate about art since childhood and decided to pursue it at 11. Currently studying drawing and painting at Cal State Fullerton, she has participated in events such as the Riverside Arts Walk, Artscape, and the Riverside Insect Fair, and aims to become an art teacher and eventually a professor while continuing to showcase her work in art shows and galleries.
Becky Kathryn Cornwell, known artistically as Kathryn, was born in Corona, California, and has lived in Riverside County for most of her life, except four years. Starting with drawing at 12 and expanding to painting in high school, she has taught herself various mediums, including chalk, oil pastels, acrylics, and watercolor, and has displayed her work at the Moreno Valley Library and in two fall shows with Artscape; she hopes to retire from her job in Moreno Valley to dedicate more time to her art.
Genesis Gamez a multi-disciplinary artist and painter from Riverside, has been creating art since the age of four and currently sells her work in downtown Riverside. She has exhibited at the Barbara & Art Culver Center of the Arts and participates in the monthly Riverside ARTSWALK, aspiring to become a character designer and visual storyteller with hopes of creating her visual novel series, while also enjoying photography and collecting fairytale books.
Britney Garcia a painter, mixed-media, and digital artist raised in Corona, has been creating art since the age of eight and is currently attending school while contributing to various art projects. Britney has exhibited work at the Norco College Gallery and aims to achieve the goal of creating art that others will enjoy.
Adrian Gonzalez Morales a photographer, painter, and occasional writer born in Mexico and raised in Anaheim, has been living in Riverside for the past nine years. Creating art since elementary school, he participates in the Riverside Arts Walk as a vendor and has exhibited his work in school newspapers, books, magazines, and art galleries, with a steadfast commitment to continue creating regardless of financial gain.
Joyce Hayes after suffering a brain injury in 2018 that caused visual impairments and motor function limitations, I began sculpting to rehabilitate my hand-eye coordination. I discovered a passion for creating sensory art that both sighted and blind communities can appreciate. As a vendor, I bring my 3D art to the public, helping me overcome challenges and embrace my new adventure with joy.
Louisa Higgins a painter, mixed-media, and mosaic artist raised in the Coachella Valley, has been creating art for as long as she can remember and is currently the Arts Administrator for Riverside County Office of Education. She has exhibited her work at venues such as the City of Palm Springs annual show, the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, the Simeon Den Gallery, and the Melissa Morgan Gallery. Louisa's hobbies include riding motorcycles, scuba diving, and being a certified mermaid, and her mission is to expand access to the joy of creating for all ages.
Dekay a mixed-media artist based in Riverside, has been creating murals in homes for nearly two decades and recently expanded her work to conventions, festivals, and pop-ups. Known for her unique, dynamic pieces that blend various mediums and styles, she also enjoys playing video games, attending stand-up comedy shows, and exploring new coffee and pastry spots when she's not making art.
Joseph Martinez a photographer from the Eastside of the Coachella Valley, has been creating art since he was 16 and is currently studying at California State University, San Bernardino. His work has been displayed at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art and various community-based galleries in Riverside County. As a published writer and clothing designer,
Dino Padilla a San Gabriel Valley native who found his artistic home in Riverside in 2016, uses gouache and oils to explore beauty through shape and value. Exhibiting at the Riverside Art Museum, he actively engages with the local art scene to foster community connections.
Sonia Sleeger a Riverside County resident for the past three years and previously from Chino, CA, has been painting for seven years using acrylics and oil/cold wax. She is a member of the Corona Art Association and the Pomona Valley Art Association, with her work currently on display at Gallery SoHo in Claremont, Ontario Airport through Chaffey Museum, and the Corona Art Association.
J Villa Murillo born in Ensenada, MX, and raised in Lake Elsinore, CA, has been a creative force throughout his life but only began painting at 19. Now 24, he has exhibited his work across San Diego, Orange, and Riverside counties and, when not working on multiple pieces simultaneously, enjoys walking his dog, riding his bike, and snorkeling.
