About ArtRoots

Creative learning that helps young people grow

ArtRoots creates free weekly arts workshops for youth ages 8-18, giving young people opportunities to explore creativity through hands-on visual arts instruction, creative skill development, mentorship, and career exploration.

The program is designed to make arts learning more accessible while helping students connect with their own ideas, their peers, working artists, and the creative life of their community.

Why It Matters

Young people deserve access to creative expression.

ArtRoots helps students build confidence, curiosity, creative skills, and a sense of belonging by giving them space to create, experiment, work with mentors, and imagine future pathways in the arts.
