Our Impact Starts With Artists

Creating opportunity

Artists need more than places to display their work. They need opportunities to grow, connect, earn, experiment, and build sustainable creative careers.

RAC supports artists at multiple stages of their creative journey, from young people discovering their creative voice to emerging artists seeking first public opportunities and established creatives expanding their professional practice.

Art in the Heart of Community

Making creativity visible

RAC creates opportunities for people to experience art where they live, work, and gather: on city streets, in parks and public buildings, at festivals and community gatherings, in galleries and museums, in classrooms and workshops, and in unexpected places that invite people to connect.

These experiences bring people together, strengthen a sense of place, support local artists and businesses, and contribute to vibrant communities.

RAC also helps make creativity visible by sharing calls, exhibitions, workshops, public art projects, and partner opportunities that connect artists with new audiences and community spaces.

Building the Next Generation

Access creates possibility

A young person’s first creative experience can become the beginning of something much larger. Through ArtRoots, artist-led workshops, community events, Creative Workforce Fellowship placements, and partnerships with schools and community organizations, young people can enter the arts at different stages and continue growing over time.

Access becomes experience. Experience becomes opportunity. Opportunity becomes a future.

Partnership Makes the Work Possible

Building a connected arts region

Impact happens through collaboration. RAC works alongside artists, cultural organizations, cities, schools, businesses, foundations, community organizations, and residents to expand access to arts and culture throughout Riverside County and the Inland Empire.

As a California Arts Council State-Local Partner, RAC also serves as part of a statewide network working to strengthen local arts infrastructure and connect communities with resources and opportunities.
