This free, family-friendly event transforms downtown into a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and community. Explore galleries, museums, artist studios, public art, murals, live music, theatre and dance performances, artisan vendors, and creative spaces while supporting local artists, performers, and businesses.
Participating locations may include The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture, Riverside Art Museum, UCR ARTS, Division 9 Gallery, RCAA Gallery, Back to the Grind, Pain Sugar Gallery, The Mission Inn Museum, Museum of Riverside, Riverside Main Library, Urge Palette, and additional downtown galleries, studios, and creative spaces. Many venues offer special exhibitions, artist receptions, demonstrations, and free admission opportunities during Artswalk.
Along Main Street, Artists on Main features more than 100 artisan vendors, visual artists, makers, live painters, performers, authors, community organizations, and interactive art experiences, creating a lively open-air arts marketplace throughout the evening. Visitors can also enjoy live music on the Benjamin Franklin Stage, featuring a band or multiple musical acts each month. Throughout the year, Artswalk may also feature surprise flash mob performances, dance presentations, theatre activations, spoken word, and other creative experiences that bring the streets of downtown to life.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the arts or visiting for the first time, Riverside Artswalk offers something new to discover each month. Come experience the creativity, culture, and community that make Downtown Riverside a destination for the arts.
